Privacy Policy

The short version

Launchr runs on your Mac. Hibernyte has no Launchr accounts and no Launchr server that your App Store Connect data passes through. The app and this website send anonymous usage analytics to PostHog so we can see which features are used; you can turn it off in the app (see below).

What stays on your Mac

Your App Store Connect API key, app metadata, screenshots and project settings are stored locally on your Mac (in the macOS Keychain and in ~/.launchr). They are only sent to Apple, when you or an agent you approved asks Launchr to talk to App Store Connect.

The network requests the app makes

• Apple's App Store Connect API, for everything you do with your apps.
• Polar (api.polar.sh), only if you enter a license key: Launchr sends the key to activate and validate it, at launch and once a day.
• PostHog (eu.i.posthog.com, hosted in the EU), for anonymous usage analytics, unless you turn it off.
• The Launchr website (launchr.hibernyte.com), to check for updates and download them. The check sends your Launchr version and nothing else.
• The npm registry, to install the launchr-iphone-mcp helper if you use it.

Usage analytics

Release builds of the app send anonymous usage events to PostHog: which Launchr features and agent tools are used, whether they succeeded and how long they took, when an upgrade screen is shown or a license is activated, your plan (Free, trial or Pro), and your Launchr and macOS versions. Events are tied to a random ID created on your Mac (~/.launchr/analytics/device-id), not to your name, email or license key.

They never include app names, bundle IDs, App Store Connect data, API keys, file paths, screenshots or anything you type.

To turn it off, switch off Settings → Updates & about → Share anonymous usage, or set DO_NOT_TRACK=1 in your environment. Nothing is sent after that.

This website counts page views and clicks on the download, trial and buy links with PostHog in cookieless mode: no cookies or local storage, no session recording, and Do Not Track is respected.

We use this data only to improve Launchr. It isn't sold or shared for advertising.

Coding agents

The MCP server listens locally. Agents such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode connect to it on your Mac. What those agents send to their own providers is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

This website

This site is a static page. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and keeps standard web server logs. It sets no cookies.
